Printmaking Camp

Come join us for a day of hand printmaking! We'll explore both ancient and modern techniques for making prints -- with ink and paint, by creating impressions, even by using jello! We'll spend time drawing from nature and then turn those drawings into colorful masterpieces. If the weather allows, we'll spend time outside (both to get the wiggles out and to discover the bounty of materials and inspiration nature provides). 

Soft Doll Art Camp 

Thursday, Jan 3
9am – 2pm
Best for ages 6–10
Max 8 children
$85 (all materials included)

Using their own drawings as a template, children will create handsewn pillow dolls of their very own. While the overall shape of the doll will be standardized to make for easy construction, the kids will draw/paint faces and other details, choose their own fabrics from a wide selection, and add buttons, trim, and other details. Kids will leave the camp with a completed  pillow buddy.

Note: the doll shown here is a mini version. The dolls made in the camp will be approx. 12" tall.
